Cleveland.com reports on the Hemingway Development project.
“Citing near-full space at the MidTown Tech Park, a local development team is shifting its focus to a second business-park project along the city’s Health-Tech Corridor.
Hemingway Development, an arm of the Geis Cos. of Streetsboro, expects to start site work and break ground in the spring for the first cluster of buildings at Link59, a 12-acre campus centered on East 59th Street north of Euclid Avenue.
A conceptual master plan that won approval from two city boards this week shows office buildings, labs, research facilities and a small food market, intended to complement a University Hospitals primary-care clinic for women and children.
Link59 is coming together as Hemingway has nearly filled MidTown Tech, a three-building mix of new construction and renovation to the east. Abeona Therapeutics, Inc., a publicly traded start-up company, and Bialosky + Partners Architects recently signed leases at 6555 Carnegie Ave., an older building that Hemingway overhauled. Only 3,400 square feet remain.”
