MidTown Cleveland’s Board of Directors announced today that it has chosen Jeff Epstein as its new executive director. Epstein has led the Cleveland Health-Tech Corridor, a collaborative effort to link Downtown Cleveland and University Circle with a chain of innovative health-tech and high-tech businesses, for nearly two years.
“We are delighted to welcome Jeff to MidTown,” said Dan Fashimpaur, MidTown Cleveland chairman and corporate finance director for Minute Men HR Management Services. “His experience and energy are exactly what we need to take MidTown to the next level.”
At the Health-Tech Corridor, Epstein was responsible for coordinating marketing, business development, and real estate development strategy. The Corridor was founded by a number of area institutions as the place in the region to develop business synergies and partnerships in the health and technology sector. Its work has resulted in more than 1,800 new jobs and 500,000 square feet of new or renovated office and lab space, and the Corridor has seen more than $4 billion of real estate investment since 2008.
